It is said that there was once a girl named Malak and a young man named Fares. Malak had deep feelings of love for Fares, and she would always watch him in silence without trying to draw his attention. Her heart beat with love and longing for him, and she wished he would sense her feelings one day. She would always search for him with her eyes wherever she went, and when she found him, she would immediately turn away and leave without saying a word, fearing that her longing and love for him would be exposed.
Malak and Fares were colleagues in their final year at the College of Medicine, and she loved him throughout the long years of study without ever telling him. She kept her love hidden and expressed her longing with her glances at Fares. One day, the professor asked the students to conduct some research for his course, assigning two students to work together on one research project. It was Malak's good fortune that she was paired with Fares. Was this fate? Did fate intend to bring them together, or would it increase her torment because she would part from him in a few days without ever confessing her love?
Fares and Malak started meeting daily to work on the required research, and Fares found himself admiring Malak more and more each day for her refined thinking, manners, and morals. As their meetings continued, a strange closeness developed between them, and Fares began to feel something for her, too. He long reflected on this feeling, wondering if it was love, mere admiration, or just familiarity. Then came the most important question: Did Malak feel the same way about him or not? Fares remained perplexed, searching for answers to these questions.
One day, Fares and Malak met to continue their research, and they engaged in lengthy academic discussions. Fares enjoyed stealing glances at Malak's innocent, romantic eyes. He wanted to express his love and interest in her but hesitated, fearing her reaction. However, the day came when he decided to ask her to be his wife, but he was afraid of rejection. After all, he had nothing to offer; he had not yet graduated, found a job, or become financially stable. So, he turned to God Almighty in his prayers, speaking to Him about her and asking God to make her a righteous wife who would help him obey God.
Malak, too, prayed to God Almighty in every prayer to make Fares the best husband for her. Days passed, and their studies ended. On the last day, Malak bid farewell to Fares with a heart bleeding from the pain of separation and eyes speaking as if to say, "Please don't leave me. I wish you knew what's in my heart for you."
One day, Malak woke up to find her mother bringing her the news of a young man who wanted to propose to her. Despite the happiness and enthusiasm evident on her mother's face, Malak did not feel excited. She still loved Fares, and if she accepted a marriage proposal from someone else, her one and only love story would come to an end... She decided to entrust her matter to God Almighty, think rationally, and agree to meet the suitor. At the appointed time, Malak was surprised to find that the suitor was none other than her beloved Fares. Malak could not hide her tears and emotion at this wonderful moment. For the first time, she confessed her feelings to her lover, telling him that she had prayed to God Almighty to make him her husband, and God had answered her prayers. She accepted the proposal, and they began preparing for their wedding day, their faces filled with joy. God blessed them with sons and daughters, completing their happiness and contentment.
